What to expect on your first consult - Llanelli Osteopath

The Initial Consult at the Llanelli Osteopathic Clinic is briefly comprised of three to four  parts.

A detailed case history is taken in order for us to truly understand the nature of your pain in order for us to effectively ascertain the best way we may be able to help.  

A thorough examination which may be comprised of:

- Standing Examination 

- Active range of motion 

-Passive range of motion 

- Orthopaedic/ Clinical Testing 

After conducting the above, we will then discuss the findings with you and clearly explain what we believe may be the most effective and safe way to alleviate your pain if applicable. 

Once we have discussed what we believe to be the problem and how we believe we may best be of help and have gained your consent, we will then continue on to treatment.
